Original Turret Tower and the 1906 Earthquake

Originally, Scott Hall boasted a much higher turret tower, complete with clocks on each side. However, this tower toppled during the great earthquake of 1906, a pivotal moment in the hall’s history that led to its subsequent reconstruction on a smaller scale, without the clocks.
